#BraveNewWorld

So it's official.  I've been selected to pilot our international exchange program at work.  Therefore, I'll be living and working out of our Netherlands office in The Hague for two months this fall.  I'm so excited, but a wee bit terrified, too.  With my international background, this should be a piece of cake, right?  After all, I lived in Paris for a year, but might I remind you that was twenty years ago.  Ahem.

Twenty.  Years.  Ago.

Part of my assignment is to write a weekly blog of my experiences.  I actually enjoy blogging, but haven't done it in years, so I figured I might as well set one up sooner than later and get going.  Here's where you (the faithful readers) come in.  What do you want to read?  What topics interest you?

I hope to make this blog more than just photos and stories of where I went and what I did.  I hope to make it entertaining and insightful.  That being said, if you're reading something that isn't blatently insightful, I'm most likely *trying* to be funny.  For the sake of my (fragile) ego, please laugh.  A small chuckle or giggle would be fine.

And before I forget, to ensure you have a basic idea about where I'll be living, you might want to check out this short & fun video on the Netherlands.  If you want to know more about The Hague in particular, here's an excellent 30 minute video about the city (be sure to notice the awesome company highlighted at 22:08).

Don't worry, there won't be a quiz.
